With over 5 years experience as a designer and 24 years with a passion for art. Right from a young age I had an interest in drawing and art related activity (albeit a bit on the sketchy side). As i grew so did my liking for the art work and after finishing college studying Graphic Design I went on graduate with a degree in Illustration.
More recently I have had experience working in some quite differing environments, from smaller businesses to global clients and adapted myself along the way.
As a designer I am always asking myself "where am I?", in terms of where do I stand in the world of design, and every time the answer is "in my place". I feel that I'm doing well as a designer and landed myself with some good clients, and it's only that which I try to better each day and I certainly don't aim to be better than my favourite, famous designers. That's only because I feel that you can take inspiration from your idols, but you shouldn't try to copy and better them. I feel that if I did then I would end up missing out on the journey of discovery, trial and error (and success of course).
I try to set my own targets for the week and if I meet them I feel good. For example with Twitter I might set myself the task of attracting 10 more followers in an evening just by communicating with my audience.
